Fun, sophisticated and charmingly witty, Tattyhead Design's greetings cards appeal to the free-spirited with a discerning eye; enabling the lighthearted lovers of life to send a smile and spread some cheerfulness.
The company was launched by Jodi Whitby after leaving her very grown-up job at the Financial Times newspaper to return to her two passions of drawing and having a good laugh. She was missing her days at art college, her ever increasing family needed more and more birthday cards and so it made perfect sense to get to work!
When not drawing or painting she can be found outside in all weathers exploring the Sussex woodlands or swimming in the English Channel, whatever the weather.
As for the name:
“When very young my hair was completely uncontrollable and grew out in every direction, so my family nicknamed me ‘TATTYHEAD’ and the name just stuck! When my design company was born it felt perfect to lend it my childhood name.”
